Activity 1
It may be helpful to write the students’ answers as to “what happens next?” on the board as they relate them. They likely cannot read yet, but it may help you to remember what has already been mentioned and will make sure they have the events in the correct order.

Activity 2
Please note the “scratch off” bookmarks are messy and leave a residue on the children’s fingers.

Activity 3
Be sure all students understand that there are five different types of vegetables on their sticker sheets.

Activity 4
Volunteers should be aware that removing the stickers requires fine motor skills which some students master more quickly than others. You may find having the students hold their worksheets in the air until everyone has completed each segment of this activity before moving on will help with keeping the students on track.
