David and Renie Gorsuch

In 1962, David and Renie Gorsuch founded Gorsuch Ltd., a specialty ski and retail shop in Gunnison, Colo. For nearly 50 years, Gorsuch Ltd., under the leadership and guidance of the Gorsuches, has set standards in the ski industry introducing generations of skiers to the beauty and magic of skiing in Colorado. Moving to the Vail Valley in May 1966, the Gorsuches were some of the early leaders who helped establish Vail as the community and world-class destination it has become. In addition to managing Gorsuch Ltd., the couple helped to build Vail Valley Medical Center, Vail Mountain School and Ski Club Vail.
