JA Business Week FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions for Students, Families, and Educators

Who can attend?
Students who have completed one year of high school and have an interest in learning more about business and leadership should apply. You don't need previous business classes or knowledge to attend.

What does it cost?
The non-refundable registration fee is $250, which covers programs, meals, and lodging. The remaining $600 cost is underwritten by local businesses. Further financial assistance is available.

How do I apply?
Fill out the online application first. Download and complete the secondary application, which includes a parent/guardian’s signature, payment, and an application for financial aid. Return those completed documents to Nikki Shull using one of the following communication modes via email at JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING ; fax at 303-534-2771; or mail at Junior Achievement Business Week, 1445 Market St., Suite 200, Denver, CO 80202

Can I choose my own roommate?
Yes, but we encourage you to room with someone you don't know to get the full college experience of meeting new people.

What time does it start and end?
JA Business Week starts on June 10, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. and ends on June 15, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.

What if I have to come late or leave early?
Students are expected to attend the entire program. If you have a prior commitment, we may be able to make accommodations - we cannot, however, allow students to come later than Monday morning, or to leave before noon on Friday. Contact Nikki Shull at 303-628-7377 to discuss.
