Junior Achievement would like to congratulate the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver for winning the Allstate Your Choice Charity contest. Going into the final day of voting, JA held a sizable lead in the morning and into the afternoon, but the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver rallied for nearly 7000 votes in a one hour period staring around 3:30pm. In the end, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver triumphed, winning by 6,035 votes.
In the final tally, Junior Achievement received 19,851 votes, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver received 25,886 votes, and Facing History and Ourselves received 4,539 votes.
Despite falling short in the end, it was amazing to see everyone’s support throughout the whole competition. We would like to thank everyone who voted to support JA over the course of the competition, including our volunteers, sponsors, friends, and friends of friends; this competition wouldn’t have been as close and as exciting without your votes. And again, congratulations to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver - well done, and well deserved.
