JA USA has just released SIX new and redeveloped programs for the 2013/14 school year. Teachers and volunteers will receive fresh, new graphics and updated lesson plans and materials for the following programs:
First Grade: JA Our Families introduces students to the intersection of entrepreneurship and first-grade social studies learning objectives, including how family members’ jobs and businesses contribute to the well-being of the family.
Third Grade: JA Our City introduces students to the intersection of financial literacy and third-grade social studies learning objectives, including the characteristics of cities and how people and businesses in cities manage their money.
Middle School: JA Economics for Success provides practical information about personal finance and the importance of identifying education and career goals based on a student’s skills, interests, and values.
Middle School: JA It’s My Future (NEW!) provides practical information about preparing for the working world while still in middle school.
High School: JA Career Success (NEW!) equips students with the tools and skills required to earn and keep a job in high-growth career industries.
