JA Golf Classic Raises More Than $391,000 to Benefit Front Range Students

As a result of the annual 2015 Bank of America Junior Achievement Golf Classic, presented by RE/MAX, LLC., participants of the event helped Junior Achievement (JA) raise $391,470 to help ensure that Front Range schools continue to receive JA’s world class programming at no cost.

This premier event held on June 22, 2015 at the Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, Colo. included a pre-tournament dinner and silent auction at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House underwritten by Lockton Companies, LLC.

“Bank of America is committed to empowering people financially and further motivating them to pursue their dreams,” said Jodi Rolland, Colorado State President for Bank of America. “By partnering with Junior Achievement, we are able to help students gain hope, optimism and control over their future financial success.”

This school year, 85 Bank of America and Merrill Lynch associates volunteered to provide JA’s financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship programs to 1,250 local elementary, middle and high school students.

“JA would not be possible without the support of organizations like Bank of America,” said Robin Wise, president and CEO of Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. “In the past two years, Bank of America’s contributions provided JA programs to thousands of students in Denver area low-to-moderate income schools.”
